I watched a video from Gina K which she used a die to make a stencil and she then stamp with the matching stamp to make her beautiful card. I knew I wanted to try doing the same and glad I did and I had so much fun.
My card: Started by die cutting a butterfly for the stencil making sure I had the matching stamp.
Using Distress ink I coloured the base of the card with one of the colours I was using for the butterflies. I then stencilled butterflies onto the base paper for the card using Distress Ink 3 colours Taking the matching butterfly stamp I stamp over each butterfly with Ranger Archival black ink to add the black on the butterflies.
Finishing the card with the sentiment and gluing down onto the card.
I hope all this makes sense but to be honest I am not even sure I understand my words. Enjoy

Beautifully done with this homemade stencil and the technique in general. The color combo is beautiful and I love the effect of the repeated image over the entire face of your slimline card.

This is such a wonderful technique and your butterflies are beautiful. Love the colors. I wondered if anyone understand how I explained my card this morning, too. It's hard to explain, sometimes.
