I was inspired my another picture originally, but I just couldn't make it work. So this bird set of gloves was my second choice. It came together rather quickly. I colored and fussy cut my image. Then I used the arrow die cut (sorry not sure where it came from, maybe Stamps of Life) to cut the border at the top and bottom of the red cardstock. Adhered the bird and added snowflakes to cover glue smudges. Embossed the sentiment and embellished.

Perfect card from your inspiration. I love the red background and, of course, I love the bird. The snowflakes look very pretty.

Oh my, this is fabulous with the brilliant color, sweet bird and feel of stitching. It reminds me very much of a Christmas quilted wall hanging my mother made me many years ago.

I say those gloves were meant to be your inspiration as this card has oodles of pizzazz. Love the red and gray - they play so well together and allow your alternately color bird to really POP!
