MIX474 = use coloured pencils with one or more other mediums - I used ink for stamping and sponging, and glitter.
I stamped the image and coloured it with coloured pencils. I carefully sponged around it with two shades of blue Distress ink, being careful to leave the pale yellow glow of the lantern. I flicked a bit of water on it for more interest. I went along the ground with a glue pen and then sprinkled glitter on it (hard to photograph, but in real life it's sparkly).

Susan, this is a lovely vintage looking image and you did a fantastic job creating the glow around the lantern! I love that the background has a snowy/ stormy look.

Ah. I have loved that stamp every time I buy from Katzel - I know I wouldn't use it, but it's lovely to see it here. The glow from the lantern is just super.
