I found some scalloped circular card stock in my stash so I used that as my base. I added a bg with sponged clouds and a tiny white fence along with some victorian scrap flowers. The base uses some plaid paper and a border strip which holds the card up. I added a few gems for accents and also glossy accents on the bunny's bow and the eggs in the basket.

Such a lovely Easter easel card with this cute bunny carrying his basket full of eggs! Love the pretty colouring and the scallops, Polly, the clouds are wonderfully done!

I really love this, Polly. Are you familiar with the childrens' book "The Country Bunny and the Little Gold Shoes"? It was originally published in 1939. I read it every year to my preshcool classes. Your card made me think of it as soon as I saw it; the bunny haa vintage look to me and makes me nostalgic! I love the added fence, twine on the basket and the way you made the stopper with fun foam (brilliant) and little blossoms.
