This if for Misti's VSN challenge. She wants less snow and more flowers. I want some snow, but I pulled out some flowers especially for her.
A bit of a story behind my card. I was reading a thread in the General Stamping Forum today where someone asked about using older Stampin Up sets. I decided to pull out some of my older sets to use for the challenge. I have so many older sets and I absolutely love this vintage flower from Gentler Times. I forgot I had the set. I also used a sentiment from an older set called True Friend. I remember using that set a lot when it was first released. I stamped it on a piece of blank book page and then grunged it up. I love vintage and grunge. I also pulled out an older background stamp called Sanded. I also used that a lot in the past. Time to start using it again. Nothing says grunge like a sanded surface.

This is fabulous. I love all the elements on this starting with that sanded bg (which you definitely need to keep using); that great die cut; that beautiful floral image, topped off with that sweet friendship sentiment. Fabulous.

This is awesome! I love your soft and vintage feel. I think I've got both of those sets somewhere around here. You've inspired me to use them again...when I find them. lol

I absolutely love that flower image, I didn't get the original set it was in but they re-released it in their best of flowers set so I'm fortunate to have it. That said, I love what you did with it (and the sentiment) here. Gorgeous!

Great job coordinating all your older stamps. Love the blue/brown combo. All the elements work so well together to make one fabulous vintage card! TFS.
