One last MIX for the birds from me. I was casting around for ideas for a card for our line-manager who is leaving next week. I know she likes owls, so that gave me an in. It needs to be a large card for people to sign, so I went for a full sheet of gold card, folded in half. The inside sentiment reads "in your new job".
Took a half sheet of white card, coated with gesso, then stamped the dandelion head, off the grid and assorted good luck and congratulations sentiments in various shades of Versafine and Ranger's Archival. Added a blue acrylic with some white to tone it down, and yellow in a couple of places, blending with a baby-wipe. I used a swirl stencil and some Glitter Kiss in a couple of places, and then rubbed in some Inka gold. Trimmed it down slightly and edged with double-sided tape and fine glitter.
Stamped the owl on a quarter sheet of card, embossed with a magazine freebie ef and then sponged with distress inks. I used a green Gelato to highlight all the grass and dandelion stems, and a silver Gelato and silver gel pen on the dandelion heads. Layered a second owl, coloured with Polychromos, over the stamped image. Computer-generated the sentiment (font - it's not rocket science) and cut with an Elizabeth Crafts speech bubble die. Added to the top of the embossed panel, trimmed and edged with Stickles. Glossy Accents on the owl's beak.

That bg is so amazing for your owl! I love the texture on the grass and the dandelions...I wish I cold touch it! The speech bubble is a cute way of adding the greeting. Awesome card mf.

I love those owls! I have a couple of them. Adorable.
She will love this. I like he is holding a dandelion. When I was a kid we used to "wish" on them not knowing they are weed and we were spreading the seeds in the lawn. lol
