I cheated my way through this card big time. Sorry. I am what I am. Ask any of my coworkers, they'll tell you I do what I want. It started as the WCW challenge which was abstract angels. That was a big fail. So I stamped and watercolored some angels and called it good enough. Then I decided to use the sketch which I turned on it's side and used a sentiment that has three lines of words for the three strips. But it all worked together for this week's Tea Party for Jean's Aunt Joyce. Jean's Uncle Don passed last month, so we are sending paper hugs to Joyce. Jean told me that her uncle loved to read history and newspapers, so I used my very old newspaper from 1888 and sponged some fluffy white clouds to go along with the angels. Jean says her aunt's favorite colors and pink and lime green, so I used those colors in my watercoloring of the angels.

Oh you rule breaker! This turned out just as it should have turned out and that is perfect! The newspaper was a great addition and those angels are so sweet. The saying works well on this card for Joyce.

I believe there are Angels Among Us too and I hope mine are as sweet, cute and charming as the ones on this card. I love the old newsprint for the bg (how kind of you to use one of your very old newspapers for this) and the sponged clouds are super. I love that you're a maverick and I agree with Polly -- this turned out just as it should -- Fabulous!

A three in one challenge. Sometimes, we just have to do what we have to do. Your little angels are so sweet. Wow! An 1888 newpaper. I believe angels are among us, too.

So much thought has gone into this fabulous card for Joyce, way to go nailing 3 challenges, too! I do love these sweet angels and the old newsprint, Jenn!

This is just sweet, Jen. I don't know how you manage to fit something as time-consuming as watercolour in with work and the kids! Your non-abstract sheriff angels are cute and the vintage newspaper looks great.
