Yesterday was the first day I had time upstairs at my desk since last Friday, and I was happy . The image was already on my desk, coloured. I broke away from my normal black and yellow background for him (DH looked at the card and said "did you BUY that stamp??" He doesn't like the card) as I am working hard on using up DP, even much-loved patterns like this one. I cut some strips from one of the solid sheets for extra interest, and added a few little bees (mirroring one) from the only Purple Onion set I ever bought the whole release. The cat-bee's wings were pencilled lightly with Inktense and then I used an SN clear glitter pen to wet the colour and spread it.

Did the sewing machine stitch those solid strips? How neat! Love that you took the effort to mirror the little bee. That can be tricky but so effective. Love this busy bee feline card.
