I am not overly happy with my card. I started it whilst on a recent trip and took the SU bird DP with me and a gelli print I had in my stash. The colours reminded me of a lake and the birds that are there. I was crafting in the wind at the time which was tricky. No excuse and not why it turned out as it did lol.
After plonking my papers on I realised I had forgotten to add my twine which was not how I intended it to be, nor the layout lol. What else to do but staple it on.
The wooden bird embellishment was plonked in silver ink and added when I returned home. It is very shiny IRL. Die cut a tag out of the same gelli print panel, added a sticker and done.
Not sure I will ever send this card. I may add it to a journal page.
TFL. Happy day

I know what you mean about this card...sometimes I have the same feelings. I like the mix of papers you have here...and it might work well for a journal page. The tag and birdie are very cute. I imagine it's very hard to craft in a wind...LOL.

And here I sit 'reading' your art story in a most pleasing way!!!
The wrap of the nautical trim is a nice contrast to those bird print feet. It definitely could be a journal page...or wing it my way.

I actually really like your card and its mix of papers and "plonked" strips, as well as the added staples...they just add more interesting tidbits to enjoy! Love your birdie sitting on the twine knot and the simplicity of the ticket sentiment! (Were you up and running about as your supplies blew away in the wind...I can just picture this crazy lady that everyone else is wondering what the hectic she's doing...bopping up and down and running around!)

How funny you don't like it because I love it. I love the bird paper, the staples, the fun bird, and the word fly. Would be loved as a card or be a fab journal page. Hugz

The string rather reminds me of bird legs with the staples as funny toes. A unique and interesting card with all the designs, texture, and that sweet chippie chick. Who wouldn't enjoy this delight in the post?

I love all those soaring seagulls! I used to bring stale bread and feed the ones on the river on the way into work, in pre-pandemic days. This reminded me so much of how they'd all flock in and soar around. Love the strip with the footprints.

Beautiful papers, and twine + bird. It is a neat looking card.
