I stamped the dog's image on a panel, using my MISTI and an extra one on some copy paper to cut out for a mask. I also stamped the sentiments one of which has been altered to show the remaining sent *you don't need a cone* inside the card.
First, I fussy cut the dog mask and put removable adhesive on the reverse side. While it was drying, I colored the image on the panel with Copics and then applied the mask. I used a blending tool to shade around the dog and then added another mask - just a piece of straight line paper to cover the top of the dog and blended a darker color to create the floor.
I haven't done any masking in quite a long time and it was actually very easy. I'm still learning to blend inks and hope that will get better in the future.
Thanks so much for looking!

Love that image! Your masking and sponging made for a very effective platform for the focal point. The recipient will really get a chuckle out of this; I know I did!

As a veterinary technician, I have a very special place in my heart for pets in cones (not to mention, the cone pretty much always puts a smile on my face!). Adorable, fun, and beautiful card!
