Paper dolls are one of my fondest nostalgic memories. I used to draw my dolls and design all their clothes. I also remember I absolutely hated cutting around all those tags to hold the clothes on!
I found the paper doll poem on a web search and thought it was totally appropriate.

Oh Kandie thank you for taking me back to my childhood. I used to play for hours with my paper dolls on a Sunday arvo and kept them all in a shoebox until I was about 13/14 and then threw them away. I still regret that decision. Your card is wonderful. Happy day

This is awesome! Such a sweet little doll with her pretty dresses. My sister and I loved playing with our paper dolls. We would cut the pages out of our composition books when school ended and use the paper (even with its lines) for the clothes. I think that's why I save minuscule scraps now!

Kandie, you've really triggered so many childhood memories for me, too. Whenever, we were home ill, my dad would stop on his way home from work and bring us a paper doll book or a coloring book. I loved and treasured his thoughtfulness, as he wasn't an overly affectionate dad. This made me feel so special and loved!

Kandie what a fun memory, and one that fit right into my childhood as well! I, too, hated the tab cutting out...I just wanted to get them out of that paper and play! Like, Jaynie, I kept mine in a shoebox and that box was allowed to come with me whenever we took a car trip. Love your sweet card and that poem!
