As soon as I saw that the CAS challenge was to use ribbons, I decided I wanted to try out my recently rediscovered weaving stencil with ribbons rather than paper, and I just found a whole stack of spring and Easter colored ribbons at Dollar Tree that were calling out to be used.
I used the stencil to trace and then cut curved lines on a piece of white cardstock, then wove assorted ribbons through it. I used a square die to cut a window in a scrap of light purple cardstock and glued the white paper with the weaving behind it. Before attaching it to the front of a white card, I wrapped a bit of purple gingham print ribbon around the bottom of the purple cardstock piece and secured it in place. Then I glued the whole thing to a white card front. I stamped the bunny fro,pm the venerable Hello Spring set on a scrap of white cardstock with eggplant ink, and die cut it with a small circle die and popped it up on the front of the card with foam tape. I stamped a Happy Easter sentiment in the eggplant ink inside the card.
I made the window a square to fit the WTUI theme from last week, hip to be square!
USEIT2022: The ribbons were very recently acquired from Dollar Tree. The weaving stencil and Hello Speing stamps are very old supplies that have not been used enough!
