I tried to use the challenge colors as good as I could with the materials that I have....the 3 colors are looking better in real life.
The metallics that I used are brads and eyelets.
I make a card for a friend who loves old technology and airplanes.
My PP has a lot of background technology items and the colors of the challenge.
I die cut the gears, dipped them in Coosa gilden wax and attached them near the gears on the PP with a brad, so they can all rotate.
The little airplanes where fussy cut out from another PP from Yvonne Creations

Awesome card, Niki! I love your choice of the aged metal with these colors. I also love to see cards that have been designed with specific people in mind. They always have so much character!

Great card and perfect for the boy/young man/masucline. Love the steampunk vibe. Thanks for entering your lovely project in the challenge at The Paper Funday. Donna

Niki, I'm a retiree from Boeing/Spirit Aerosystems, with that said, I'm a sucker for airplanes. This is such a cool take on Chris' challenge, I love it all! I'd also have to say you are a bit of an overachiever on the rotating gears, wink, wink! Super design, love it!
