Watercolored bluebird. Next time I would make his head a bit bigger the beak a bit smaller and I l would change the angle of the leg. I tried to have the legs at different levels to try and add depth but I am not sure it was successful.

LOVE that BIG fuchsia heart - it makes quite a statement! Well done on the bluebird and the subtly layered feathers you suggested with the V shapes on the wing.

I love that you built the background with the framing and such, yep I think the legs look totally real on the angle of that branch and I think the scale of the head is good with the size of his body. ( I have some mourning Doves in my yard, and they tend to do this stick their heads up high like they are doing giraffe neck stretches, so it looks normal to me to see the chin up.)

What a fab card with a bluebird and heart. I love the sentiment. You really made his tail feathers perfectly and the other feathers, too. Your tree looks great with all the branches spreading out. Love your gorgeous card.
