I wanted to make a 2nd card today to use up my left over red & black circle halves and to do this elongated version of the Split Circle Technique. All I needed to cut for this card was the mid-sized gold circle and a 4th smallest size circle in gold. This time instead of setting it back into a circular shape, I slide the halves apart until the colors lined up in a gentle S-shaped swirl. This was affixed to my embossed Paisley bg. I layered my gold ribbon onto a piece of black cardstock and added the sentiment on top of that. Then finished my swirl with a smaller gold circle inset with a punched crimson heart. Just for fun added one more punched heart and Cupid's arrow heading it's way.
