I kept the overall idea of a shelf or window filled with cactuses. I changed the overall color scheme from green to brown, and used stickers instead of die cuts, and added a sentiment to the card front.
I started by covering a kraft card base with some woven-looking patterned paper from my scraps. I cut the window from some brown cardstock and trimmed the edges close. I used some scenic pattern paper from a new Christmas evergreen themed pad, cutting out one corner of the sky background and gluing it behind the window frame. I added the cactus stickers and attached it to the card front with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of white cardstock, and used the rectangle piece leftover from the window die cut to back the sentiment. I added a fancy metallic brad and attached to the card with more foam tape. To balance the left side, I added some taller cactus on the âfloorâ and some sequins in the upper corner.
Enjoy your week, Rose, and congrats again!
USEIT2022: combined some brand new (paper pad, sentiment stamp) items that I just got this week, with some much older items from my stash, including the stickers, sequins and especially that woven paper and the brad!

The woven patterned paper was the perfect choice to showcase your cacti. It really sets the scene and gives it a bit of a desert feel as does that great brad -- I know that is not a Native American Indian design, but it does have that feel to it which adds to the desert vibe of this card. Love that you used the cutout to back your sentiment. Beautiful design and card.

Colleen, this is such a lovely card. The textured background is the perfect way to set off your pots of cactus. The shelf die cut is perfect for the pots.
