Mashed the two inspirational pieces into this Funny Farm birthday card.
We just returned from a whirlwind drive down to Arizona to 'rescue' all the things we had to leave behind when we rushed home in March of 2020. While there I just happened to make a purchase or two and this "Funny Farm" stamp by Stampendous was one of them. Once a farm girl, always a farm girl. It just hollered at me to take it home.
I stamped it with Versafine Black on Tim Holtz WC paper;
coloured it with distress inks and an aquapainter;
dropped the black ink spot on my nearly finished image as I was putting the lid on it and had to try and fix the splotches;
remembered that these are all farm animals and a little 'dirt' on a pig is quite acceptable;
gave it a black border and a grassy bg;
found some punny things for the animals to say and printed them on white cardstock.
The inside says: Happy birthday from everyone at the Funny Farm. Even found a font with farm animal silhouettes to use with the inside sentiment.

How cute!!!! Love all the little animals and the perfect sentiments you gave each one. No, the ink spot on a pig hurts nothing. They love to get dirty, don't they? I really like the barn board, also.

Oh my goodness, this card is absollutely fabulous! I love each farm animal image ~ realistic but also so fun! So well colored and your little greetings from each one are perfect!
