Her lovely valentine reminded me a victorian card I had bought at a coin and stamp show. I also found a way to use the metal flower I have had forever. I painted the background and sponged on DOX inks to try and match the colors of the card. It was an adventure just like all my journal pages. They all start off so different in my head!
I was also inspired by Rose's framing. I was going to paint white hearts around the frame, but felt it would be too much.
Thanks for the inspiration Rose and enjoy your week!

Gorgeous page Nancy. I love the texture on the BG and the metal flowers pop. The vintage card is perfect with your BG. Happy day and hugs dear friend.

Nancy, this is a great case of Rose's card. This is so creative. I love all the painted details and layering. The metal flowers are perfectly highlighted on your beautiful journal page.
