This card is for this week's Tea Party - Share Your Joy using this week's fabulous colours - Gorgeous Grape, Smoky Slate & Crushed Curry and also getting dessert in with the green shade.
I love birds and the garden, my appreciation for birds has grown since I have been retired. We regularly see Kookaburras, Parrots, Cockatoos, Magpies & Crows in our garden. I stamped the image and coloured with pencils. Sponged lightly around image, after I had die cut, and added stickles to the tiny flowers.

Beautiful card for Berniece. Your colouring is gorgeous. Happy day and keep cool. It’s very very hot here.

Sue this is lovely especially in those colors (I need to file away that combo and use it sometime). I can't image having those colorful birds in your back yard...it sounds wonderful!

This is so sweet. Beautifully done in the challenge colors! Love the bird. I like the ribbon tag. Great idea for using those random pieces of ribbon that you just hate to throw away but are too small. Very nicely done. Into my favs.

To me, those birds sound so exotic. I have seen kookaburras twice, both times, curiously, with birds of prey. The bird on your card is so pretty and looks great in those colours.

What a beautifully created card Sue! I love the little yellow ribbon and your coloring of the scene is wonderful! I like the way the die cut frame mirrors the polka dot background, too!

Well, let me add my plaudits for this beautiful design, your coloring and the use of this week's colors. This card is both lovely and peaceful. I love watching the birds in our backyard too, but ours are mostly dull -- browns and grays. Fortunately, they make up for it with their funny antics. I would love to see yours someday in person. Beautiful card for any bird lover and I'm sure Berniece will enjoy this immensely.
