I've used 2 twinchies cut out of a mixed media panel made with elastic bandage covered with gesso and if I remember well, I've colored with alcohol inks and gold paint on the other, I've water colored 2 backsides and splattered the blue one with white acrylic paint, stamped the sentiments and just side these between 2 sheets of acetate framed with dsp strips and the twine is glued between both sides

Well done on the framing. I was thinking that was about the only way I could use them and have the backs show. The texture on the front is just fantastic.
