This card will be for Berneice who loves her garden, birds and squirrels.
I loved making this card. One of my favourite things is making a bright happy card for someone who will really appreciate it. My "joy" would be colouring images and collecting colour pencils, pens and water colour paints to use.
I have so much in common with Berneice too as I love my garden, flowers, birds and animals. I definitely love squirrels too even if we don't have any here. I have been so tempted to bring back a couple of them with me after a visit to Canada in my suitcase.
Stamped and embossed the Pink Ink image and coloured it in before fussy cutting The background is a water colour panel decorated with flowers, branches and leaves. I stamped some acorns and coloured them in and fussy cut them as well.
Hope you enjoy.

Holy Cow....your leaping squirrel just made my day...what a fun image. It cracked me up! And the pile of acorns in the corner is hysterical. You get loads of extra cookies this week Helen!

Such a fun, cheery card! Sure to bring a smile. I know what you mean. We have ordinary squirrels in Florida, but when I visited New England, they had chipmunks! I wanted to bring one back so much!

Helen - this squirrel image just made me chuckle out loud and I am betting it will get the same reaction from Berneice! I love your great hand stamped backgrounds - there are always so many interesting things to see in them.

And I'm chuckling along with everyone else. That squirrel is very happy and happy-inducing. Beautiful background and I love the colors in the leaves and that fun heap of nuts. Great card.

Oh, this is a hoot and of course he is doing a happy dance having gathered all those nuts, lol. We see squirrels all the time on our walks and get such a kick out of them. How shall we arrange to ship you some from Canada?, lol. Love your bright colors on this happy looking card you have created for Berniece.

What a fabulous squirrel, thrilled with it's cache of nuts. Your color layers are awesome! My squirrel, mellow and subdued, must be tired after gathering all it's stash.
