I like the way you left the ends staggered instead of trimming them down. I see I did that a few years ago, and I still like the look. Like Anne's, yours makes me think of the roots of Bargello in embroidery. In fact, I think the illustrations in my Reader's Digest book of needlework in in something very close to this colourway.
