Wow ilove how these cards turned out. I had been collecting skinnier and smaller scraps in a 3x5 index card box for a while and they were overflowing. The other night I sorted all the pieces by color and cut into standard sized strips, about a half inch. Yesterday I cut a variety of white cardstock rectangles and squares, ran several strips of tape runner on them, and lined up the scraps on them. Both easy and kind of mindless projects to do while watching tv.
I was ponderiNg how to turn them into cards and noticed a recently impulse-purchased pack of floral die cuts on my desk. I opened them to take a look and quickly noticed that there was at least one diecut that matched every one of my card strip pieces.I matched up die cuts and background pieces and after that it was a matter of sticking the backgrounds to a white or Kraft card and popping the diecuts up with foam tape. Super pleased with how these turned out, and thatâs ONE scrap box cut down to a manageable size!
USEIT2022: a whole bunch of skinny little scraps. Plus the recently purchased die cuts, used immediately and not allowed to languish in my stash!

Wow, you have created an entire GALLERY of gorgeous cards using your strips. Now I want to go and make a bunch just to copy you. Fabulous cards (all of them, not just the two here).
