CC881 - Gorgeous Grape, Smokey Slate, Crushed Curry
TPT706 - Share Your Joy
I combined challenges today. This will go to Gracie's Mom. What gives me joy? Stamping & sending out cards to family, friends & strangers. One of my best memories is going to AZ to visit a dear friend & seeing all the cacti. My favorite is the Prickly Pear & it's pretty light purple color. So I stamped off Gorgeous Grape, but twice would've been more like the color I saw. Also, I created a 'cinder block' for the cactus to to be displayed. My friend's house has lots of gray blocks to make a fence around her house.
Anyway, I stamped my 'block' with the flat back side of a stamp.
What a good memory this brought to mind. And I love Garden Green. There are cardinals on the inside
Thanks for stopping by.

I love your non-traditional take on the cactus! This is such a sweet and happy design, I'm sure your recipient will be cheered by receiving this thoughtful card! Thank you for participating in this week's challenge, I love how you thought outside the box to create such an inspiring piece of art!

Your cactus is lovely - and you did a great job on stamping the stone slab for it to sit on. Cactuses and succulents always remind me of my grandmother, she grew a lot. My aunt still has one of them, over 45 years after my grandma died.

A lovely card using this image of cacti, Karen - I have developed quite a fondness for succulents over the years and are perfect for our hot climate here!
