This is in honor of Kathy (Carolinakathy) who is today's featured stamper. I chose this card as my inspiration: MMTPT626 Dog too big for dog house by Carolinakathy at Splitcoaststampers
Like Kathy I kept the dog themed dsp, and stamped and fussy cut my dog image. I paper pieced this cute Border Collie's scarf, cut out the image and placed it over the die cut "counter". This is a valentine for our daughter who had a Border Collie who was a terrible counter surfer : ) I punched out the tiny red hearts and added to the paw print patterned paper. The entire panel was ten mounted to a heavy white card base. Enjoy your time in the spotlight this week Kathy; I sure enjoyed browsing through your gallery and noticed that I have some of your creations faved!

What a truly wonderful Valentine for your daughter .... that sweet doggie face and his bandana really caught my attention! Love the wood floor die and the SU framelits sentiment.

Claudia, this is a great case of Kathy's card. This is such an adorable card. I really love the red, black and white color combination and that red and white bandana kicks it up a notch! Precious!

Your card is just adorable...love all of it. The doggie in his paper pieced scarf is too cute. Love that sentiment.
