I stamped and heat embossed the wildflowers in platinum - that normally keeps the watercolour painting inside the lines but in this case I wanted to do some looser watercolouring. I started by putting down a lot of water - enough that it went outside of the embossed lines. I added dabs of various yellow watercolour paints and let some of it overflow outside of the flowers.

Heat embossing is wonderful, isn't it? Great instant results - a miracle of sorts. Love the brilliant yellow. Makes this card so very cheerful!

Beautiful! I love the sunny yellow flowers! I love the way you colored them. I might do something similar on an upcoming project. Thank you for the inspiration!
