I had so much fun with the [lant and pot, I decided to paint a second pot. Square this time - this one gave me trouble in that it would not sit straight. I thought I had it drawn straight, but when I painted it then looks like my tree is about to fall over. I loved doing the shadows both on the pot in this one and on the trunk of the tree.

This is awesome and I did notice the shadows on the bonsai as well as the pot. Glad you enjoyed this week's challenge.

I am mightily impressed by your bonsai tree and there were certainly lots of opportunities to add shadows on that twisting gnarled trunk. At first my thought was that there wouldn't really be much shadow on a flat surface and then I realized you had given us a corner view of the pot which put the whole shadow thing right back on track - Bravo you!
