Karen gave us such pretty colors for today's challenge. I was going for the look of California poppies, but these colors are a bit too pink for those. Oh well, creative license : )
I die cut the lace background and the scallop border die. I sponged Soft Sea Foam ink on the green panel and the detailed leaf layers to darken the color a bit. After layering the blossoms, I thought they looked bland in the pink so I blended on some coral ink (I don't have the Flamingo ink) to add some dimension to the flowers. I stamped the greeting onto a Petal Pink oval and blended coral ink on that as well. Layered everything up, popping up one of the flowers, a leaf and the greeting panel. Last, I added a few rhinestones for some bling. Another birthday card for my stash - TFL!

Great choice to sponge some of the cs pieces, Claudia. That green color is so light, but with your added sponging, the leaves have nice definition. Pretty poppies and lacy bg panel~

Your lacy background reminds of dresses I've had in the past! Great memories of such pretty lace, it's really makes the card! Your flowers are shaded beautifully with this week's colors too! Love it!
