Angie gave us a wonderful watercolor challenge last Wednesday to paint a watercolor sunset. I had fun trying my hand at it. This is my second attempt. I followed the steps in the video and added a few white caps to my waves after the watercolor was done.
I decided that to finish it, it really needed a nice frame which I did with the card base. I added the sentiment using a bit of card stock that matched that part of the painting. The sentiment is popped up and I finished the card with a sprinkling of clear sequins.
Thanks for the fun challenge, Angie, and thanks for looking!

Super painting and I really like your white clouds and wonderful waves. I had the hardest time with my sun but I see you got it perfectly. So glad you joined us. Oh, and I like your framing.

So very beautiful! I love the reflection on the water and your colors are stunning! You did a beautiful job of color lifting for your clouds. A stunning waterscape worthy of framing!
