Happy Friday.
Here is my card for the F4A today; It's a Guy Thing.
I thought of my son as I created this card. He loves to be out in nature, especially loves to fish.
I created the bkg on my Gel Plate inspired by Lydia Fiedler as she showed how to fold her Gel plate to create a print.
thanks for looking.

Such a stunning creation, Karen. I love that beautiful reflective heron image. I went to your blog and read your process for this. So, did you put the ink only on one side of your gel plate up to the center and then fold it? It looks like it since the same little splotches are on both sides from the center, but it doesn't seem like you would have that much ink on both sides. Maybe I didn't read your instructions carefully enough. Anyway, what a wonderful effect!

I love your card so much - the gel BG and the heron with its reflection. I am luck enough that my commute by train goes along the Hudson River and except in winter I get to see these magnificent birds nearly every day. One day I counted 10! You have really captured the peaceful feeling that they represent to me.
