I used yesterday's sketch challenge for the layout. Found a picture of an Irish harp and sketched it on watercolor paper. Watercolored the harp, shaded the outer edges with TH OIs. Since the harp is a symbol of Ireland, this card will go to dear Irish-heritage friends.

I suppose I should find some Irish images, since my daughter Liz married Scott, we now have Irish heritage in our family. Scott's paternal grandmother is 100%. Nice to have something added to the pot besides German-French. Oh we also have Icelandic from Scott's Mom. Anywho, lovely painting of that lovely harp. I saw the sketch right away.

Gorgeous, rich shade of green on your background piece. I love the subtle shamrocks added. That harp is stunning; did you add metallic gold over your water coloring? It just shines!

Already stamping for St Patty's Day! I love this. I was hoping to get the stamp but this is your original so I will have to settle for enjoying your design.
