I have never done this technique before; I think there is a tutorial on SCS but I don't know the name. The heart is a bunch of flowers and leaves, floating above the base. I watched a Natasha Foote video yesterday and was inspired to try.
This is for today's sketch, complete with vertical element this time, and this week's colors, which are lovely. I stenciled with pear pizazz and added a bit of mossy meadow for depth. Guess what? I colored!!!! Yes I did! You can probably count on one hand the times I've colored the past two years or so, just not my forte. I used pinks, reds and light green alcohol markers after stamping and heat embossing the flowers and leaves. I fussy cut everything, no dies that went with this set. I think this is just like the technique where you use Press and Seal but I used a 4" wide mint tape from Scrapbook.com. The technique isn't difficult, just time consuming.

Is this ever pretty! Love the green stenciled leaves, they're lovely with the heart full of flowers. I really like silver thread you used for the vertical element.
