Last week's Watercolor Wednesday challenge had us practicing painting leaves. I followed the video and kept mixing different greens so my leaves weren't all the same color. After painting, I splattered it with some of the green watercolor. A fan brush works really well for splatters.
I cut the panel down with a rectangle die and then stamped the sentiment with versamark and heat embossed it. I popped the sentiment up with foam tape.

Lovely job with the compound strokes. Like the look of the various green shades and the added veins. Fav'd Glad you played with us in this challenge. Hope to see more of you.

Fabulous job on your leaves and the colors are soooo pretty. Hmmmm....I've never used the fan brush for splatters but will try that. I always use a toothbrush. Yours look great.
