This is the first time I have ever tried the whitewash technique. I read the tutorial, watched a few videos, then selected an image to give this a try. I really enjoyed this! I may do more, now that I have it figured out.
I stamped my image with Versamark ink, embossed with detail white embossing powder, then heat to set. I took the pigment ink refill and placed a few drops on an acrylic block, watered it down, and painted with a brush. After the white dried, I used Ricocco Rose for the flowers and Granny Apple Green for the leaves. I used reinker drops with a bit of water to make them lighter and easy to spread. I finished the card with a simple Hello, from the same set. I masked part of the hello greeting.
I am including this in the January MISTI Monday challenge. Thought this isn't My Sweet Petunia's signature pink, it is in the pink color family.
