I always have liked the look of white on kraft, don't do it a lot, haven't always liked my outcomes, but I like today's. My white chalk ink is bone dry so I used white pigment, then Distress on top. I used seedless preserves, faded jeans, forest moss and twisted citron. I didn't paint the whole thing with the colors, wanted to leave some white. I suspect chalk ink would have created a whiter look. I thought about splattering some white but decided to leave it alone.
Today's CAS is all about a healthy new year. I'm a firm believer if your mental health isn't good, the rest of you isn't. Doesn't matter how much weight you lose, how much you work out. I have been working on weight loss since July, sort of a standstill since Christmas, but I certainly have been working on my mental health with exercise, mindfulness and lots of healthy food. I'm positive spring will come and that I will have a pot full of pansies on my front porch again. Also creating something everyday has been a lifesaver!!!!

Oooh...I love the look of the white and distress inks against the kraft. Absolutely wonderful job on the coloring and added stitched framing which adds nice texture.

Your white ink looks great on kraft and I do love flowers and cannot wait to plant some in the spring. Wonderful sentiment.
