Today's F4A-games! I don't play games much but I do like to watch tennis; I haven't in quite a while since ESPN and the Tennis Channel took over. I miss it and am very out of touch, although I do know about Novak Djokovic and his troubles.
Today's MIX is all about either faux wood or bubbles. I chose bubbles, couldn't find in my stash some bubble backgrounds (maybe they're used up) but when I saw the Tyvek 'bubbles', I knew I was on to something. I just started picking things from my 'stash bins' and away I went. The Tyvek came from Lori (artzidonistudio); she is so great at sharing her techniques and supplies.
Finally, this is for yesterday's WT-layers. Doesn't have to be layers of paper, can be layers of mixed media products. I'm sure there are at least three layers on the background, including alcohol inks, then I added the icing paste, the Tyvek and the circle are from my stash too. What possessed me to add the gold stickles around the edge? They look like worms. I remember when my brother was little and would get angry, he would say, 'I'm going outside and eat worms.' Don't think he ever did...although, that might explain a few things.

Tyvek! I should have thought of that. I even tidied a bubbled piece into my background box this afternoon. It looks just fantastic, wonderful addition to the MIX.

that is so funny ( that you see worms) I seen big stitches...
The bubbles are very interesting too, I first seen them as seashells and then it made me have to think to see that they were actual bubble shaped ha.

Jean, this is a very impressive mixed media card! I, too, love my tennis and, like most of us Aussies, rules are rules and it is time Djokovic went home with his tail between his legs!!

Such a fun card! The Tyvek bubbles are such a great texture addition! Thanks for introducing me to that technique. I'm going to give it a try the next time I have my hand on a Tyvek package. Thank you for playing along in the Mix-Ability challenge!
