My card for the Mix468, I've chosen for Wood, I've used the faux barn board technique with school glue, white acrylic paint, and a drop of brou de noix and sandal, once dry I've sponged over again with darker inks, added scoring lines, stamped the leaves with stazon, colored again with posca markers and my fingers, added white gel pen details, traced around with black fine writer, stamped the birthday sentiment with stazon ganache and fussy cut the bird in 3 layers.

Anita, that is just beautiful. I always find that faux barnboard very hit and miss, so I have to feel I have energy to try it. The stamping on it and the scoring make it really special looking.

Oh so pretty! Where have I been, I haven't heard of the faux barn board technique! The position of all your image elements makes this card really appealing to my eye, not to overshadow the beautiful texture of the wood background! Thank you for playing along in the Mix-Ability challenge!
