It caught by attention when it was her week to be the Featured Stamper. I knew I wanted to still CASE it. Thankfully, I had this in mind when I needed a quickish card for my nephew who just graduated from college.
I don't have alcohol inks, so I just used watercoloring instead. I wet my entire watercolor piece with water after taping it down. Then I sprinkled the Color Burst powder in areas. I used the reinkers of Navy and Granny and a watercolor brush to add color to other areas. It worked better when my brush was a little wet. My BG did not come out as nice as I had wanted, so I covered it up. But, I was still pretty happy with the end result.

Gorgeous and it sure doesn't look "quackish". Love the white die/embossed image and it really pops with the ocean bg you created. Beautiful bg, BTW. Great card for anyone and I bet your nephew will more than appreciate it (especially if it accompanies a graduation gift...LOL). Hugs.

Yummy background colors to showcase this lovely nautical diecut. A real stunner. And thanks for leaving your nice comment on my Blue Magnolia card. Much appreciated
