A card for my friend who is in a care home dementia unit. Currently, they are not allowed visitors. This fits the S2S22JAN challenge, to make a colouful, cheerful card, and send it to a nursing home resident. The bright pattern of the dsp is the main focus here, with only a smaller sentiment on a die cut frame from my stash. I was inspired by a yellow card im our featured stamper gallery. This powerful message needs to be proclaimed and love seeing it placed on such a beautiful background.

It's such a nice, bright and cheery card and perfect for someone not feeling well. I like the sentiment placed on a die cut. It's perfect with the dsp.

I am so sorry your friend is experiencing dementia and especially during this difficult time of isolation due to COVID. I'm sure she will be thrilled with your beautiful card and message. I hope you can visit her again soon. In the meantime, she will have this lovely reminder of your friendship. Hugs.

Beautiful card - sure to brighten your friend's day. The restrictions are so hard for residents of care homes, especially when dealing with dementia issues. My Mom is in a care home in our town and has Parkinson's Disease dementia - thankfully, in spite of many Covid outbreaks in her facility over the year she has lived there, she is still allowed to have her two 'designated visitors'. So thoughtful of you to send this wonderful reminder to your friend - even with memory issues, the message that His love never fails is rarely forgotten.

Love the stained glass look your background paper has. So bright and cheerful. I send my aunt cards though I know she doesn't know who they are from. At least she will know that someone remembers her! I'm sure your cards are appreciated as well!

Ina, missed this somehow! What a beautiful card...love your sentiment and the sentiment die-cut layout. The dsp is lovely, and I agree, it looks like a stained glass window, making your sentiment perfect!
