A birthday card for one of DH's friends. He wanted this verse, and after three failed attempts using wildflower stamps, I went with this die which was on my desk from another project. I cut it from some wrinkle-free distress done with peeled paint, forest moss and tea dye distress. The background is cork embossed with a basket weave 3D ef. I added brads to the sentiment, sponged the matting layer with blue and added it to a kraft base.
Oh, the wildflowers were cut twice, once in reverse so that they don't directly overlap, and the upper layer is popped up with foam. I scribbled some Liquid Pearls just to finish the bottom edge, and also used it to conceal the white foam.

WOW! Faved. Those wildflowers and the texture from the embossed cork… just wow. It’s all just stunning and in some of my favorite colors, too. Love it!

I never would thought of embossing cork! I learned something new again! And I like those brads for this.
Cool idea to flip the die so it gives you more mileage.
