For this week's Teaparty it's Teapotter's choice. We're using gold, silver, sparkly or glittery accessories or techniques. I painted gold on the embossed part of my bg and then added gilding flakes around the edge. The woman image is silver embossed on gold stardream paper. I added a couple of gilded flake hearts so I'll probably use this for a Valentine.

Wow, Very fancy! Love the vintage-y look of the image and the and embossing. All the gold paint and gilding remind me of how very early portraits like you would see in Versailles were framed. This is stunning Polly.

The gilded age is an interesting time in our history....a good time for the Carnegies, Morgans and the like, tough for the working people. Really separated the classes. But, that said, this is very luxurious and beautiful!!!!!!!
