The background for this card is actually a water colour panel - with lots of soft aqua and mauve - but try as I might - the computer think it knows best and I can't get the background to show up so this card is much brighter in real life.
Stamped and embossed the image on the water colour background and also on white card. I then doodled a flower garden for Puss to stroll around in. Coloured the flowers in bright colours (again doesn't show in the photo). Doodled a border to finish off and layered the colour cat image on top. No whiskers were harmed in the making of this card.
This is one of the two Pink Images I bought myself for Christmas.
The flower garden is one place where I have found peace and quiet and have been able to relax - if you call weeding relaxing - over the past year. Of course my two little kitties have kept me company while I have been working. No gardening today for any of us - its too hot - so it will be a day to stay inside and play with something inky.
Hope you enjoy.

Helen I love this. It’s not only cute but so pretty. Your cat looks like she’s got the cream, and your colouring is superb. Happy day and may this year be a wonderful year for you. Keep safe over East.

Love, love - what a treat for the lucky recipient.
For a giggle - DH went to take the cover off his motorbike the other day and found a neighbour's cat sitting comfortably on the seat under the cover - I guess it was warm and sheltered! I don't know how on earth Levi managed to get up onto the seat, though. He's a grey, but sleeker than this one.

Oh Helen! You have the most fabulous collection of stamps! I love your kitty but even more so the doodled background! What a lovely garden you have crafted. The kitty seems to appreciate it as well. :-)
