 | | I have seen this technique used on many cards here on SCS, but I've never tried it before now. I had the Enjoy The Moment stamp set already out, so I decided to use it and case this card: Enjoy the Moment | Crafting Daily Dose by crafting.dailydose at Splitcoaststampers
I changed the ink colors, paper color, stamps used from the set, and sentiment and added a second colored (Soft Suede) panel.
I adhered a Soft Suede panel to the front of an A2 white card base. I cut a white panel slightly smaller than the card front and stamped the images along 3 of the sides and into the middle. Then I die cut a stitched rectangle from the center of that stamped white panel along with a slightly larger stitched rectangle from Soft Suede. I layered the two rectangular panels on top of each other and adjusted until I could get all of the image edges to match up (with the stamped white panel) & then adhered them together. Then I carefully matched up the image edges and adhered the rectangular panels over the stamped white panel and then on to the card front. Lastly I stamped the sentiment from the set. TFL! |
