This week's Tea Party Challenge - Two Faces - decorate both sides of the card front. What a great challenge, Sabrina, and it is that time of the month when we get to 'tickle' each other.
For most of us, 2021 has seen us spending a lot of time at home due to the Pandemic. It has actually made me appreciate my home and having a garden to sit out in and enjoy.
I have used dp from a 6" x 6" Paper Pad from Kaisercraft. I have used the windows on the front to depict the fact that, no matter where we live, inside is home sweet home. I used 2 pieces of burlap and added the panel of framed sentiments, which have been raised, using dimensionals over the burlap. I fussy cut the flower and butterflies.
My highlight of the year happened on Boxing Day - we were with our little 2 year old Grandson, Will - he has been quick at reaching each little milestone, except talking. Imagine all our surprise when, as he touched each piece of his puzzle, he counted them 1-10 out loud!!

Such a beautiful card Sue and lots of texture. Love it. You ladies over East have had such a tough year. I can imagine what joy seeing your DGS would have been. Home is definitely where I like to be these days. Keep safe and well. Hugs

How fun to be able to watch your grandson grow and develop. I'm so glad you were able to spend Boxing Day with him! I do think these last two years have made us slow down and really appreciate the little things. I am certainly blessed to have a happy home and wonderful family. Beautiful card, Sue, I love the symbolism. Especially the pretty flower and butterflies to represent your garden. Hugs!

This is perfect...it certainly shows what life has been like for all of us and how we appreciate our home and family. Sounds like you had fun with Will...The talking thing sounds like me...I said my first word early then went totally silent until one day I just starting talking in complete sentences!

All those shuttered windows are fun to see, and I love the bit of texture from the burlap. Love your memory which brought back a memory of my own from when my son was about the same age and didn't talk. Then out of the blue one day he said, "I want the red ball!" I almost fainted. The doctor said he didn't talk before because he didn't HAVE to (being catered to by a doting mom!)
