This is the inside of my tickle card. I decided to highlight another part of my life in 2021 that brought me some joy. I like to bake cookies with my great-nephews. They're both autistic (and both are now teenagers)....their interests are rather limited so when I invite them over if I can get them to help me bake some cookies I'm happy....and they seem to be, too. I used an already made gelli print for the background (I didn't want to add bulk to this 2 sided card). TFL!

How lucky the boys are to have you, Polly, and lucky to be able to help with cookies. I'm sure there's some eating involved!! Sweet inside with the cooking theme.

This is awesome fun and a blessing in your life and your nephews' that you can share this love of baking with them. Smiling at the bg because that's how my kitchen looks on the rare occasions when I do some baking!

Aw, sweet. That image always makes me smile, I think it's so sweet. And your print is great, the red looks a bit like mixing bowls. The one we had when I was little was red. I'm sure you're nephews enjoy the baking and the cookies at the end of it.

What a wonderful highlight of your year, and I’m betting for your great-nephews as well! That image of the baker is so sweet, and I love the little one looking on! Super sweet card!!

How fortunate your nephews are to have you involved with them. Our nearly 6 year old grandson is autistic and we provide respite often. He is happy most of the time but needs constant supervision. I hope to be able to bake with him some day. Love this image. It does remind me of our Thomas looking to see what food might be in the works.

That looks like me before my daughter arrived! I love making cookies! Then my daughter announces she is on a diet....skinny as a rail......Love your scene, Polly! Thankfully you had some helpers! Lucky you.....
