Hello and welcome to this weekâs Color Challenge. Barbara is hosting. This weekâs colors are: Pool Party, Pretty Peacock, and Very Vanilla. Ribbon is the Dessert Option.
Since this is still the holiday season, I decided to make one more holiday card. This one depicts a lovely winter sleigh ride. The die that I used is from Cottage Cutz. The snowy scene was cut from a piece of vanilla cardstock from Coreâdinations. Peacock Feathers and Broken China Distress Inks were used to create the background.
This card makes me hope that the temperature here dips low enough so that we can get some snow! Itâs very rare for us to get snow here in SoCal. Right now, itâs REALLY cold and rainy. Fingers crossed that we get at least a light dusting of snow.
I hope that you'll feel inspired to join in on the Color Challenge fun this week. I also hope that you have a very a bright and prosperous 2022!

This die cut overlay is beautiful, but the real star of this show is that wonderful blended background. There is such a glow to the blue colors! Your work is lovely!
