Kukla, Fran and Ollie is an early television show for children, using puppets. Seems that a lot of early television used puppets, right? It broadcast from 1947-1957. It was created for children but, eventually, more adults watched. It had no script and was entirely ad-libbed. Fran was comedian Fran Allison, Kukla, the leader of troupe of puppets featured and Ollie (Oliver J. Dragon), who had one tooth and had the endearing quality of rolling on his back. Awww, Ollie! Fran was the big sister, listening to the foibles of Kukla and Ollie and others.
Liz hosted a VSN called My First TV and the challenge was to do black and white only. I have a little tan in the postage stamp and I don't count silver as a color. Why do I have this postage stamp? I don't know, I never bought any. I'm guessing it was a series of old TV shows. To do a 'switcher-oo' on Liz, I decided to CASE her sample for her VSN for today's CAS. Haha, Liz, gotcha!!!!!
