I masked a border around my card, and repeatedly stamped the pine bough. Die-cut the branch and added the owl, stamped in brown, eyes and beak coloured with pencils, glossy accents on the beak, and sponged with antique linen. I added the sentiment, and some Liquid Pearl dots to the foliage.

This is as close to CAS as I would ever get, and it turned out beautifully. Such a pretty leafy forest and the gold dots are fabulous. Super cute owl. I live in a built up residential heighborhood, but because of the drought, a lot if the owls and hawks have been visiting our yards looking for food. This little cutie would fit in perfectly.

Super cute owl nestled in the pine boughs. I like how you masked to create the wide, white borders. Great card! Thanks for the inspiration and the fun challenge. Merry Christmas.
