Barbara's colors this week reminded me of winter. I just received this Penny Black die and thought it would be perfect for a winter card that will double as a gift card holder for a Starbucks gift card. I've added dies cuts to the inside.
After creating the tag I decided to use some DO ink to antique the edges of it and the card. I thought it went with the coffee theme and added a bit of "warmth" to the frosty snowflakes.
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday! If you're not too busy, please join us this week as we love seeing all your beautiful cards.

Oh, boy! I wish I had a mug like that! It's so festive and pretty, and looks great with the coffee/hot chocolate/tea steaming. I love the vintage feel you gave to the tag and the edge of the card. This is beautiful, Jeanne!

Well, looks like we both had tags in mind when we created our cards! What a great idea to use it as a gift card holder. It's beautiful and functional. Happy Holidays!

What a great winter card! I love the big snowflakes in the dsp and the cup of hot coffee/cocoa is perfect for winter. I think I have that die and haven't used it yet this season; I need to pull it out for January birthdays!

While these colors look "cool" to me, your card definitely oozes warm. That's a great die and I love that bit of steam rising from the mug. The snowflake dp is gorgeous and such a beautiful backdrop for the tag. Wonderful card.
