For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC837), we're visiting Emerlyn Closet & their Pinterest Board, where I found THIS lovely image.
For my slimline card, I started w/ a panel of turquoise which I spritzed w/ bleach, then die cut. The pine boughs were stamped all down the left side & colored in w/ Copics. The pinecones, leaves & berries were stamped on white, colored & die cut w/ their matching dies. When I started to arrange them on top of the pine boughs, the narrow white outline around them seemed too bright. Instead of trimming them all, I took a Copic close to the bg color & went around the edges to make them blend in a little better. A fine line black marker was used to draw the branches to the berries. The cones, leaves & some of the berries were popped up a bit for dimension. I used a white Posca paint pen to add "snow" to the images.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ Copic colors & links: The Write Stuff

Your coloring on these images is so beautiful, Julie. I like the way you edged them with blue to blend in with your beautiful snowy sky. All the happy Christmas colors just pop with your white sentiment band.
